Sign-ups must also be willing for their details to be passed on to local councils and go through the necessary safeguarding and property checks in order to host. Any rooms offered should be in an enclosed and private space.
*It cannot be guaranteed that councils will be able to pay the £350 hosting payment in the context of re-matching. This is because if the re-matched refugees came to the UK on the family scheme visa, hosts will not be eligible for the £350 payment, although depending on the council other support may be available for hosts.
