Welcome Churches is keen to continue supporting churches in welcoming Afghans into their local community. We plan to publish a book for Afghan children to help them navigate their new life in the UK, and we would value your opinions.

Children's book

We will publish a book for newly arrived Afghan children aged 11 to 16. This book is produced to help them think through the changes that have happened in their lives and the new experiences and opportunities they now have in the UK. It may help them think through how their own household culture is changing and what things will remain important to their family, even though life in the UK is very different from life in their previous or home country.
